Job Summary: As the Head of Engineering Department at Etrack, you will lead a team of engineers responsible for designing and developing mobile crushing and screening equipment for the Indian market. You will be responsible for driving innovation, managing product development projects, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality products that meet or exceed customer expectations. The successful candidate will have a strong technical background in mechanical engineering, experience in leading engineering teams, and a passion for solving complex problems.

- Lead the engineering team in the design and development of mobile crushing and screening equipment for the Indian market.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and maintain engineering standards, processes, and procedures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, manufacturing, and sales, to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality products.
- Manage product development projects from concept to production, including project planning, resource allocation, and risk management.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and industry associations.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to the team on complex engineering challenges.
- Manage the recruitment, training, and development of the engineering team.
- Preparation and conversion of manufacturing drawings for production from EU specifications to relevant Indian specifications.
- Developing new subcomponents / assembly drawings for new products / modifications / upgradation.
- Preparation of layout drawings and other schematic drawings for plant operation as per customized configurations of various machines.
- Coordinating with Keestrack global Engineering Centre for generation, maintenance, standardizations, preparation of relevant design / production documentations / other documents.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- 15+ years of experience in mechanical engineering, with at least 5 years of experience in leading engineering teams.
- Strong knowledge of mobile crushing and screening equipment, including design, manufacturing, and operation.
- Proven track record in product development, project management, and risk management.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Experience in managing relationships with customers, suppliers, and industry associations.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
